i am about to drop my car with neuspeed race springs. they say they drop the car 2.25 in the front and 2 in the rear. has anyone placed these on their cars and how bad did it mess up the camber. i need to know how much degree adjustment i need so that i can put everything on at the same time. what camber kit do you recommend. ingalls?, progress?, etc........, do you even recommend one for the rear or just washers?

separate question is how do they ride with stock struts. they only have 33,000 miles on them. i realize that is pretty much the half life.

Yea ur camber will be affected with that kinda drop. When I had GCs dropped to about 2inches all around on my 98 civic....i was forced to get front/rear camber kits. These were the Ingalls. I paid 300 for the whole set. I was very happy with them...though when u hit bad potholes...they tend to pop out a bit and you'd probably wanna get it re-adjusted.

BTW, note that if ur tires are tucked into the fender...fixing the camber can make it even more prone to rubbing...since the tire will sit straighter.

As far as shocks go, ur probably gonna wanna upgrade those. I have tokico blues...but honestly, wasn't too impressed. I've heard really good things about Koni though, especially the adjustable yellows. Hope this helps somewhat.

True. My experiences have been very similar. I've got about a 2-2.5" drop on Koni yellows(sing. adj.) and GC coilovers. Front camber is at 1.8 and rear is 1.3-1.5 degrees negative. I also have 17x7" wheels w/ a 40mm offset. They only rub in the front if I hit a good bump under all most 3/4 to lock on the steering. A little risky, but never and big problems. I have separate 15" wheels and tires for the track.
I would go with Koni's over the Tokico's any day of the week. I've tried both.

 

i know the situation with tokicos. i had then on my accord that was dropped about 2.5 -3 inches and two of them blew within three weeks. i know that these struts aren't made to handle a 2.5-3 inch drop though.
