dont really know how to use this apexi vafc yet, im running an ls/vtec in my crx, engine specs are in my garage, i was wonderin if i can control my idle on the vafc? its idling at like 1500 rpms now that i put it in, if u know, please help.. thanks guys!

 

damn shame, i can build a motor, and cant use a vafc.. lol

 

You won't be able to control idle directly by the VAFC. It can help adjust fuel curves and vtec activation switch points.

 

what kinda head are u using, i have 97 gsr head on my ls/vtec set up n it idles alil high also, around 1000-1100, it used to idle around 15 but then i found out my intake mani was not tightened all the way

 

OBD1 & Uberdata.. then you place with your ecu all you want.

 

b16a SiR II head, it idled PERFECT until i started ****** around on the VAFC lol then i made the idle jump like crazy (whomp whomp whomp) now i got it at 1500... it was idling at like 900 before i decided to teach myself to use a VAFC without a book.. lol

Go to apexi's website and download the book, reset the vafc intill you know what your doing.
