Default itr rear lower tie bar on gsr

i have a friend who is selling a oem jdm itr rear lower tie bar, would this be a worthwhile upgrade to my gsr? is it a direct bolt on? thanks for any help

tie bar or sway bar?

If its the sway bar yea go for it best suspension upgrade you can do youll need an installation kit just search covered many times. Peace

This is the one you mean? (abeit a picture of an EK):



If it is, then it won't bolt-on to your GS-R, unless you weld the Type R suspension arm pick-up sheet metal "sub-frame" to your car...

i wanted to do the same thing to my gsr but i knew it wouldnt fit....i wanna get a cusco 1 peice tie bar, you might wanna check into one also....

This is correct. It won't fit on the GS-R. Try looking into DC Sports lower tie bar as well. Be aware that a lot of lower tie bars conflict with the ABS lines!

You could also look into Z.Speed & Skunk2 (they both appear identical to me).

no it wont fit because ITR's have a designated place to attach it and the GSR doesnt..dont buy it, i had to learn the hard way

see the two things i circled? RS LS GS GSR doesnt have it so youd have to weld a bracket on or go aftermarket
