Default Need advice: Looking to buy a turbo kit for Ep3

I'm looking to buy a turbo kit for my Ep3 and i've seen a couple out there, ie. rev hard, greddy, tsi, and etc. Any suggestions? Opinions? experiences with any turbo'd ep3's? how much gain? price with install? troubleshooting? thnx.

i have the greddy kit and it would've served me well since it's my daily driver, but i had someone put it in who SUPPOSEDLY knew what they were doing and didn't do it right and i fried 2 pistons... However, the Greddy kit can be run on stock internals from my understanding, just be sure to get it tuned. It'll give you a nice HP increase... The dyno with the Hondata reflash designed for the Greddy kit showed approx. 230hp @ the wheels, someone correct me if i'm wrong. The only down side is that it doesn't come with an intercooler... Overall I'm pleased with my Greddy turbo kit...

I seems like a lot of the EP'ers are liking the Rev-Hard kit . They are getting the intercooler and every thing needed in a very nice priced package.

I was looking into that, I've seen some dyno charts with ep3's carrying the rev hard kit and they're impressive but i dunno if that's just with a stock car.

If i were to get an intercooler it would DEFINATELY help out...i could safely raise the boost level in addition to the BOV and stronger clutch i had to get. With just adding the intercooler i would assume that i would feel a power increase simply because its supplying the engine with a colder and denser air charge... i got my kit for $2900. Small story to follow...

I originally ordered the kit from NOPI for $2700 but for some reason they had a hard time getting their money from my account, which isn't uncommon from what i hear. i was tired of their bulls*** so i went to a shop around my neck of the woods and they were sympathetic of my problem with NOPI and got me the kit for the above price...i really don't know if i got hosed or what, i was pleased with the price regardless
