Default Fitment of EnzoRacing header, and Final Thoughts

Well, As far as fitment ill let the pictures explain them selfs. The exaust was pulled down almost 1.5 inches est. Thats far too much, i dont see this header lasting with out some kind of crazy flex pipe to take some of the stress off the header flange/primarys.

Hmm...

This actually isnt hitting the #4 primary but just enough space to put a piece of paper between...

A little after install bling...

"your supposed to buy an intake first?!?"

A little more bling

As Far as performance thoughts go, i just got back from street tuning it (Hondata w/most all options) And it really is quite a diffrence, The whole power band seems so SO much more free to breath and ect... After vtec feels very very nice, i am really curious to see the torque curve at vtec, it sure feels awesome.

If i ever get time to go dyno ill let you guys know how it does.

Overall Grade: B-

Pro: Great looking quality, Good welds, Good material, Good Performance.

Cons: Fits like a fat guy in a 25 waist

The heat is goign to suck on that slave cylinder. My header has that same issue and my slave cylinder took a crap 6 weeks later. Maybe it was a coincidence but now my new slave cylinder is acting funny. And my header is jet hot coated.

Who knows maybe it is something totaly unrelated but it does seem ironic. Maybe some F.I. guys can chime in on this problem.

Thats an interesting point, I havent felt anything immediately, but that may indeed lead to a problem.

Pics aren't working for me, but it might be Sam's crappy computer. I'll take a look tomorrow morning though, and then write something worthwhile.

By the way, who is "mixed motorsports ek", Clegg or Matt?

As other's have mentioned, I'd definitely look into putting some sort of flex-joint into that setup. I'm a bit surprised and curious as to why the manufacturer doesn't provide any sort of flex-joint with the header. If the header was intended to be run "open", then there'd be no need for the 3-bolt flange that's on it, and if it's intended to bolt to an exhaust system, it should have a flange that allows flexing. A flex-joint would also greatly improve the fitment problem of the exhaust hanging so low and stressing the header.

Yeah, as i stated in the first post, i realize i need a flex, but flex cant make up angles to that degree. Ill probably still trying one out to make sure my header lasts more than a couple weeks if that.

I would also like to say that Enzo, has gone out of his way to help me with the fitment problem at hand.

I dont want this post to discrimate people from contacting him. Hes a good guy, and really does make a quality product.

ENZO, HEADERTECH, RED = SCAMMERS

All of there headers hang too low like that. I was told "just put a jack under it and push up a little"

They also built all of the headers (that I have seen) with the primary almost touching the slave bleed.

I'm glad you got it, but don't let anyone else buy stuff from the SCAMMERS AT HEADERTECH / ENZO HEADER ect,ect/

Hey Matt

i dont' know what your problem is but grow up and pick up the phone and call me.
You like to call me a scammer when i have busted my *** getting everyone's orders out. You didn't want to deal with me so you figured red would take care of you. I guess you didn't get the header yet, if ever. You thought he was the honest one and i wasn't. Everytime you talked to him you made a post about it and bad mouth me and you basically started all this ****. If you have a problem with me be a man and call me rather then posting this ****.
