rear drum squeak question
I have a squeak in my drivers rear drum. it makes the noise not when I am braking, rather when I take my foot off the brake pedal. it sounds to me like something needs to be lubricated or something. any ideas? anyone else had this problem?

Also make sure you don't have too much brake dust in them drums.

I have / had this exect problem. It comes and goes. Usually when it is hot out. I took it to my mechanic to see what the problem was and he said my brakes were fine and he blew out the crap that was in them. But the squeak came back. Im having it on my passenger rear.
So I dealt with it when it would come around and it was not a big deal. Then when I came back from my fishing trip my car was covered with dirt and bird **** because I left it outside. So I decided to take it through the car wash instead of dealing with the baked on bird **** myself. Being the baller I am
I went with the most expensive wash with the wheel clean and undercarrage clean.
My wheel doesnt squeak anymore. I dont have vibrations at high speeds (100kmph+) anymore. Maybe you should try that out. But be careful. If your car is faily low like mine you will rub the front bumber on the track in the wash.
