Corner workers don't move as fast as cars, thus are good for checking focus, exposure, and shutter ... the 500mm lens, (fixed at f8 I beleive) has a relatively short depth of field (as it should) which means there's only a short time when the cars will be in focus. Being that I never used that lens before, you'll notice quite a few pics are slightly out of focus.
