Question about ITR motor swap
About to swap a 99 ITR motor to my 00' DC4 and now i have few questions.
1. Since 00+ model teg has immobilizer function and i wish to keep it so i would need a 00+ ITR ECU with matched ignition and chipped key, right?
2. now comes to the wiring harness part. if i do get the 00+ ECU with the key and everything, do i have to swap out my NonVtec harness? or i can just simply reuse my stock one's and then add the Vtec wire after?
Reason why i am asking this is because i am trying to make the swap as simple as possible since i have my Alarm installed and all that.. i do not wish to take out my dash and put in a 99' obd2v1 engine harness and lost my immobilizer ...
um.. can someone help me out here?
