Hey all. I just popped the plunger out of my wheel cylinder by accident and was hoping for advice about whether I can just clean it really well and put it back or if I should try and get a rebuilt one?

(BTW if it was easy for me to get to the parts store, I'd probably just get another one but no wheel cylinder = can drive the car anywhere.)

 

just make sure theres no dirt in it, put it back together, and slip the rubber boot back into place. Should be fine.
