Default speakers and amp suggestions for $400

i've budgeted 400 for my car audio system. currently my set up is a pioneer 6400 with basic kenwood 6.5's in the front.

that setup has been in place about 2 years and now my rear speakers are blown. i'm looking to keep my head unit and get rid of the front kenwoods (i doubt they could handle an amp powering them) i want to upgrade the system to speakers all around and a 4 channel amp.

right now i'm looking at this amp. the alpine mrv-f340

i was planning on getting the alpine sps-690a

and infinity reference 6002i

what do you guys think? i'm not getting a subwoofer, i've been through that stage and found it to be not worth it. i just want a good sounding system that i can occasionally play loudly without hurting.

comments? suggestions?

oh and btw, how much do you think it'd cost to have this professionally installed?

Should sound pretty good, you should install the speakers yourself and save some money and just pay them to hook up the amp.

Usually I would suggest you ditch the rear speakers altogether but since you're not getting a sub you need something back there. I think you should go for some decent 6.5 inch round speakers, if you like Alpine then the equivalent Alpine 6.5's speakers should go nicely. Just make sure you mount them properly, make a wooden baffle out of MDF (wood) and if you amp them they should sound great.

IT ISOLATES AND ELIMINATES THE SOUND COMING OFF OF THE DOOR ITSELF, IT IS LIKE A RING OF WOOD TO MOUNT ON THE DOOR TO MOUNT THE SPEAKER TO, AS LIKE A DEAD MATERIAL! SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS
