what turbo do you have that seem very good for the small turbo that comes with the greddy kit what kinda hp are you putting down i heard with proper tunung the greddy only puts down like 170whp is this true?

$4k for a b18b swap? Let's be realistic, $1500-$2000 MAX. $4k almost covers my swap and turbo kit, which doesn't require expensive refills except for gas sometimes

I can get D16 motors in the bay for 500 if u want.

they are easy to find too

 

Got it from a friend who pulled it in favor of built B16 motor.

 

12.5 1/4 mi., dont know the mph....set up was 95 D16z6 Rev Hard turbo kit (bought custom manifold, RH cracked 3 times) boosting 9lbs. @ Pomona. Oh yeah, it was in a 92 CX crappy slicks on 96 gsr rims. This was a friends budget set up, trying to build a low 11 sec. monster. It can be done, only method of tuning he had was a cam gear. Stock block, head, injectors etc....oh yeah and a custom turbo ecu program.

well the kit boosts up to about 15psi but most peeps go to about 12psi the turbo spools at about 2500rpms and drops off at 6000 (cause of a small turbo ) but it feels nice. havent lost yet.
no 170whp is not correct there is some people that are pushing 210@ wheels with just the kit at about 10-12 psi and proper tuning.

e-mail me about the program, $150....that car put out 241whp @ AEBS on 9lbs., unbelievable if you ask me, but then again im not a big SOHC fan. A friend of mine is building one right now, should run low 13's high 12's naturally aspirated. That set up will be a d16z6 block with an older Si head with roller rocker assembly and a big lumpy cam, 12.5:1 compression, EX manifold, gsr TB and some custom header. Cant wait to see what that will do but I wouldnt build one.

 

goto JG they have a 160whp sohc street motor dyno chart on their site...

that should be good for high 13s with slicks and suspension

I have a SOHC that runs 9's what the **** is wrong with y'all? Stock internals, stock fuel system, stock tires even!!! LOL!!! YEAH RIGHT!!!!
I hope to hit 13's with my turbo next year. That is with the help of Hondata, Garrett, Tial, HKS, and Max Rev!!!!
