no vtec??
i just swaped in a fresh d16z6 into my daily driver(93 civic 4dr dx) i had another z6 in it befor but its was shot,that ran vtec no prob, im throwing a cel 22 and i checked the wiring on it, its all good i havent changed it or anything and i took of the vtec selenoid from my new z6 and put the one off my old one on so i knew i had a working one any segestions, what should i start checking
anyone???
today i swithched the soleniod back to the motors original one, and i tryed swaping to another ecu, me and my friends rechecked all the wires with a meter, and ran the car and tested voltage when vtec engages and got the 12v that it needed for that, i dont understand what could be the prob< rechecked that the pins with in a4 and d6 and that they werethe right ones
could there be somthing mechanical stoping vtec from engageing, like maybe a cloged oil port on the head coming from the vtec solenoid???
