Which wheel and tire setup is better for quarter mile runs?

Default Which wheel and tire setup is better for quarter mile runs?

These are the only choices I have

Toyo T1S 215-40-16 on RH CP-035

BFG Comp TA Drag radial (I think that's what I have, its old) 225-50-15 on steel wheels

The Toyo setup is less than half the weight of the BFG. Which would you think would give me better times?

i would run the BFG's - having the reduction in weight (and subsequently "faster" setup) wont do **** for you if you cant hook up with it. You can hook with the BFG's off the line... use 'em.
