Just give it a week or 2, they will find something to ban or impose "NEW" weight limits per size and grade of bolts used to assemble the car with

I doubt they'll think about it at all. Get a 16 car field of import cars that qualify within a .10 sec. spread and somebody might pay attention.

Bottom line today they put on a good show for the 10 minutes of qualifying they had. At least they didn't embarress themselves like last year. I really dont care if all the rednecks at the nationals are impressed by the imports or not, but someone ran 6.6's today and it wasn't pro stock. haha pro stock is sick im only kidding, but how can people hate on a 3Liter turbo engine going 6.6's??? just cause its import. consistancy will come w/ time and cut throat competition. Import racing is still new!

Well please believe me I am always inpressed with the imports of our market. What people of now do with those cars are sick. I just hate to see people try and compare such things that are so far drom one another. Prostock N/A Import everyclass Ive been around for a bit and just love fast cars no matter the class.

Ill even go to car shows if theres no racing to do that night just cause I love cars. hell even nascar if I get a free ticket btw, my post wasn't directed at you, just happened to be the name I clicked on. It was directed just to the thread in general.

After attending The O'Reilly Nationals(Extreme Rush) today it seems as if Sport Compact racing is going to have an uphill battle for big sponsorship dollars for awhile. I actually looked around at all the sponsorship dollars and where it was put amd how it got there and it blew my mine. All the bashing and **** talking needs to go away and we need to unite as Sport Compact racers to push foreward into the future. I'm planning to launch a two car team for the 05 season and I know how hard it is just to do a single car team but I've decided to get off the porch and play in the yard

Don't "short change" those "redneck" domestic loving fans. They just like good drag racing and appreciate professional race cars and race teams. Looks like our group of import racers didn't let us down. I can only hope to be one of those teams next year. Great job

Those turbo Buicks from the 80's are the reason NHRA banned turbo's from the Pro Modified class all those turbo V-6's were beating up on the nitrous and supercharged V-8 guys.

I think we might see some 6.50's tomorrow. All those guys always sandbag on the first day to get a baseline of the track. The ProStock guys I think are gonna sh*t!
