Default system for an S2000, whatcha think?

OK I am going for a semi show system. I will install it so I can easily take it out, or at least fairly easily for track days! I am also on a semi budget (hard to do show with a budget I know)

head unit= clarion dxz945mp
door speakers= infinity perfect 6.5 components
Spods with infinity perfect 5.25 components
speakers in trunk 5.25 infinity perfect components (I am putting these here cause I will have a six channel amp
subs= 2 ten inch infinity perfect dvq's
amps= infinity ref1210a to power subs
infinity ref5760a to power all other speakers
the reason I am choosing to get a six channel amp is the dimensions are exactly the same as the mono amp for the subs so I can make the system look symmetrical.

What do you guys think I am open to suggestions or ideas!
All of this will be installed in a very clean manner with some lighting effects but not many I hate crazy flashy systems which is why I picked this stuff none of it is that flashy.

Thanks!

sounds ok. all install is pretty much the same so i don't know what you mean by easy to install and remove. this is totally different from a security install where u can do a crappy job

thats gonna have good SQ with perfects and infinity subs.....although infinity midbass speakers arent very strong as others in their class. Still beat out about 60% of other brands out there hands down.

"May not win SPL contests, but ever though about Sound Quality contests. The car's install looks solid enough and if the sound is how you described, it might fair well. Never know until you try. "</TD></TR></TABLE>

SQ contests with alpine type S ?? anyways....

I understand you want a semi show car but i would take a much different approach. Go front stage only (with a sub in the trunk). if possible, go 3way up front instead of 2 component sets which i think is what you originally stated. concentrate on having more of a clean stealthy install over having as much stuff in there as possible.

Default details!

Well I got to good of a deal on this stuff to pass up, so i baught it. The way i am doing the companants is one set in the doors one set in the roll hoops behind the seats( you NEED rear fill in a convertable it doesnt sound clear at speed without it. I am also putting a companant sytem in the trunk for looks sake and because i will have two extra channels, the reason i will have to extra channels is the 6 channel amp is the exact same size as the mono amp and i need it to be symetrical for it to look right with the way i want to install it. I have a picture in my mind of what it will look like and it should look very clean and not overdone at all, and the trunk will be as close to fully usable as possible. by the way my budget to date was 400 for the deck and 1000 for everything else including a 1000 foot roll of 14 guage speaker wire(over kill i know) so i couldnt pass all that **** up for a grand! all new in the packages with warranty! boo yaa

when you get the car let me know! you will LOVE it! i have had mine for two years and the stereo sucks nuts. I had stock, then i got 6.5 inch compenants then i got an amp then finally a deck and it sounds awsome untill your cruisin at 70-80 mph the wind noise over takes the system you need some high closer to your head. you will see what i mean! and at 130+ you cant hear **** so you gotta have more stuff behind your head! hahaha

i agree that a stornger front stage helps, but with the top DOWN which is how i drive 100 percent of the time since this is my nice weather car you have to have somethign by your ear. Mostly cruising at 75-80mph the wind noise is insain. With the top up fronts would be AWSOME!~ and it isnt like i will have the rears on loud just so i can hear voices. drive with your windows down then picture that noise times 3 and that is the wind noise i get. Fronts just dont cut it period. And after getting thsi stuff and checking out the build quality i am VERY glad i went this route!
