are these floor mats real?
i was looking on ebay for some jdm stuff and i came across these floor mats...are they real?...cause my friend has type-r floor mats but they dont look like that

No they arn't real but I bought the black ones and the fake ITR emblem comes right off so you end up with OEM looking black floormats to whatever color you choose. They fit pretty good too.

no.. not real, but i have them anyway in my car. they look really good, but they are hard to clean because little leaves and **** will get stuck in the fabric.. i usually end up picking them out by hand. and the type r emblems stay on fine for me.. i like the rear center mat too.. looks good.

If you want this guy to cough up the scratch it costs for real "ITR floormats" you're insane.
How are you gonna say
to the floormats simply because they didn't come out of an ITR - I say save the money, and spend it on something more imporant. . . LIKE HORSEPOWER & TORQUE

They not real ITR floor matts, i used to own them, they're not that bad. Im thinking about getting another set, since mine is all mess up.

Real JDM mats look similar to the fake ones. They have the same little plaque on the corner on each side of the front and passenger mat. There isn't a plaque on the rear mats anywhere. The plaque is metal and the fakes ones aren't from what I heard.
The real JDM ones also have a tag on the passenger (JDM driver) side mat that says "Honda Access" and has Japanese on it.
JDM DC2R also doesn't come in red or blue.

Those floor mats will not fit on the DC4/DC2. Those are only meant for the RSX models a.k.a DC5.
