EK9 Idle problem
My mate has a JDM EK9 the real deal, with a JUN header, and top fuel intake and an FPR, he's having a big problem regarding cold starting.
When he goes to start the car from cold, it will turn over but it won't grab and start unless you press the throttle a bit, you then have to keep you foot on the htrottl for a while until it warms up a bit otherwise it just cuts out.
We've changed the IACV, the Air Intake Temp Sensor on the Intake mani, the water temp sensor by the thermostat for new items but the problem still persists.
There is no Cold start thing under the TB as this a genuine EK9 and thats controlled by the ECU.
The timing has been set to factory specs and the FPR is set at baseline pressure of 40psi.
This only happens when the car is cold it's fine when it's warm.

I have the same problem, expect now I can start my car w/o using the throttle on cold start, I changed my fuel pump.
But my car still has a hard time idling at cold start...
