I'm doing the Mini Swap soon and i had a few questions. I have a 90 Crx Si (D16A6) and i'm picking up on a Y8 head, I want to stay all motor and get it pretty quick for a street beater.... QUESTIONS..

1) Do I need to change my Tranny For this Swap? (Currently the Stock Si 5-Speed)

2) Stock Redline With the Y8 Head on?

3) Est. 1/4 Track Time?

4) Can I still use the Head bolts from the A6 Head?

 

1) Do I need to change my Tranny For this Swap? (Currently the Stock Si 5-Speed) nope, thats the best transmission for the job actually

2) Stock Redline With the Y8 Head on? im not actually sure

3) Est. 1/4 Track Time? low 15's unless you've lightened up your car a bunch

4) Can I still use the Head bolts from the A6 Head? i am pretty damn sure that you can, but it wouldnt hurt to go for some arp head bolts
