Removing paint from stainless steel DC header

How do I remove hight temp paint from a Stainless Steel Dc header? A little top part of the header was painted with high temp paint.

only way i think of is wet sand it very fine sand paper or try paint remover and buffing it out afterwards

is there a how-to thread to make stainless steel headers shine after they get all dull? I dont know if it was on honda-tech but i remember seeing a thread.
