my dilemma is that when i'm driving on the highway my car seems to wobble like my back end is going to swing around. my steering is very weird, i would be able to shift my wheel and nothing happens it wont turn, it takes a little more effort to actually turn..my friends think i need an alignment..i haven't had one done in a while..others say lower tie rods..but my mechanic cheked and they said they were still good..ANY SUGGESTIONS?

 

Did you so called mechanic check the rack and pinion?

 

Have you checked your tire pressure and have had them balanced?

 

has your car been in a any collision?

 

could have a seperated tire

 

At what speeds does it occur? If your car is wobbly at high speeds, one of the solutions is getting your wheels balanced, once that checks out, check your p/s system. Check p/s fluid if full.
