Default meGan strut tower bar Review

so after looking at the more expensive strut tower bars for a while i came across this meGan one on ebay for 22.00 +20.00 shipping and figured why not give it a shot.

The build quality seems to be quite nice, its good and thick as well as having decent welds. all in all i am happy with it so far. tomorrow i will put it on the car and update!

I found the easiest way to get that kind of bar on is to disassemble it. Mount the two end pieces to the strut bolts first, then get the bar hoes.. ehem holes lined up with the end piece holes. You may need to unclip some things like connectors around the strut towers to make room, especially if you come up with some big *** ingenius DIY shake-tool.

marlboro reds =

i have wondered about these rip offs on ebay, when it comes to things like a "bar" it is hard to mess that up to much, maybe this is something that will actually be good for your car and not cost that much

OT: what do you think the HP gains will be when you put that thing on shakes? i would like to see a dyno. lol

Doug,

What ignition are you using? Have not seen that before. Is that black cable with all the white ties on it your alternator wire to the battery?

Looks good.

i have the mallory ignition, it sucks.

that cable feeds power to my 90 lb weight in the trunk

EDIT: After tearing up the off ramps and on ramps for the last three hours i must say to meGan racing. the chassis seemed much more rigid then before.

very nice! Megan Racing makes killer stuff for the money! I just installed one of their headers, amazing quality! I made a post on here about it..

ps. For those who don't know Megan Racing is a company, not just some made up ebay junk!

Is that not a rear strut bar? I know that is what Prelude rear bars look like on the flange (2 holes), and the front one has 3 holes. Maybe that's why it is so tight?

Good buy either way

I think i'm gonna have to invest in another strut bar myself.

My neuspeed one wouldn't work with my new motor.

Faulker wouldn't clear my oil cap
