For everyone going to an external fuel pump, this is the easiest way to go. These are all hand fabricated from 304 stainless sheet 0.125" thick, seam welded with a -10 AN male fitting.

Comes with a template for cutting the holes in your fuel tank as well.

 

Question: Is it possible to fabricate a baffle on top of it to keep the fuel from sloshing around when braking/turning? Or would that restrict the flow into the sump area?

 

the correct way to do it is to not cut the fuel tank where the sump is welded, but to holesaw into it with 1" holesaws about 5 times, this way the fuel falls into the sump but wont "slosh" out past the top unless the small amount that goes through the holes
