Default 2004 Accord XM factory antenna help!

I own a '98 Accord and really like the antenna pod they have on the 2004+ Accords. So I ordered one but when I finally had the antenna and my Pioneer XM receiver I was disappointed how the connector on the Honda antenna was a proprietary one. So I ended up having to buy a TERK antenna that sits on my trunk lid.

So my question is if anyone knows of some sort of adapter I can use, or some company that will cut the mini-coax and make new ones. Any help or suggestions would be great.

what's the plug look like? It would be odd for Honda to change the antenna plug. Hell even the new volkswagons use an Sat radio looking plug, and the BMW Z4's have like 4 or 5 of those style plugs. You sure the plugs plastic housing doesn't have just different notches cut out? If so use a small jewelers tool or small pick to remove the plastic "clip" section, and the actual inside metal connect should fit into your pioneer. As far as I've ever seen, all of those units use the same metal connector inside (both sirius and XM), the only different connection I've come across is in the XM/Sirius repeater system which uses junctions that screw together to keep a tight connection.
