97 accord taking out cluster
can u guys show me in pics how to take out the cluster out of a 97 accord? cause i want to put in some white face guages there.
it seems i took out most of the screws but it doesn't want to pop out..help me..thanks

I think you have to remove the entire black panel to be able to remove the gauge cluster. At least that's what I had to do with my civic. I'm fairly certain the accord is the same way if not more complex.
Same car, did the same thing. Screws all over the place in which you have to remove the arm rest, center console, and then the black dash.
Screws inside and behind a panel in the arm rest, under the cup holder (removes arm rest)
Screws next to the hand brake, behind cigarette tray, behind emergency or defogger and alarm lights, behind glove box door on left (removes center console)
Screws behind change tray, under the roof of instrument cluster (removes dash)
6 screws holds the cluster in place, and bunch of light connections behind it. Becareful of the A/C switch pistons/switches and the sockets for all the lights.
First time I took them off, had no manual, spent 3 hours just to find all the screws, then the fun part came when the screw holes for the gauge face dont match, had to cut out some more. Do have fun trying to figure out how to get the gauge behind the needles.
