Engine noise at lower RPM's
I have a 2000 sh model.
When i first heard the noise i thought it was the plastic shield on the underside of the motor, but it seems fully entact. The heat shield seems fine also.
This noise sounds kind of like a grrrrr or gurgling sound. (sorry for the lame discription but that is what it sounds like)
It is not a constant sound but it does appear briefly at startup and usually hear it briefly when i am downshifting in 1st or 2nd gear.
Seems like it shows up often when there is more strain on the engine.
Any help advise or ideas would be appreciated!!!!
Thanks in advance!

as i emailed you (but wasn't sure if got dumped into your bulk mail folder because it was from my GMail account...)
Mine has made that noise two times. The first time it was the autotensioner for the timing belt.. it's a sign it's wearing out. The 5th gens up to a certain year (forget which) had a TSB about the autotensioner wearing out prematurely. I had mine replaced at the dealership (which was covered under my extended warrenty except for the new timing belt) and the sound went away.
The 2nd time it came back was because my power steering belt was squeeking at times, so I sprayed some belt dressing on it. The sqeeking went away but then I could hear the sort of grrr sound of my power steering pump.
