Default Oil

I was curious as to what kind of oil you guys are running in your R's during this time of year. I live in Atlanta, so it really doesn't get below 20 and tops at least 70. So, what do you recommend so I can go ahead and make a stop and get it. Thanks guys!

Mobil 1 I use 10w30 all the time and have had no problems with both my Civic Si and the Type-R.

I am also using Mobil 1 10W-30 Synthetic. It doesn't get below 20 deg around here so no worries. Figure I might as well get the slightly better protection with the heavier oil (albeit at the cost of a pony or so).

In my Civic Si (previous car) I always used 5W-30 (Mobil 1 Synthetic again). That worked very well also.

I use 5W30 - just like the owner's manual tells you to.

Mobil 1.
