painting the inside of my headlight
i recently took apart my headlights and got some hid's retrofitted. i was wondering who all had painted the inside of there headlights. anybody that EVER has please respond with comments and pics, Civic's, Integras, ECT...
-my car 2000 milano red base with a c/f hood
*what color should i use? black/gunmetal/flat black/metalic black, ect...
*where should i buy it from? hobby lobby?
anyone have any pics or anything of there prelude with painted headlights?
Do a search in the Prelude forum. It'll be archived by now I'm sure, but there was one there.
I painted the inside of mine, and I know one or two others have done the same. It turned out great.

mine are done flatblack on my eg6, they look good, the inner part is still silver the outer part of the backround is flat black, im thinking of doing the ohter ones thati have all flat black see the difference

i actually used gunmetal for my bezels (2000 teg gsr). actually i learned that if you paint the bezels dark, it gets rid of some glare, espescially with hid retrofit with projectors. im actually trying to take pics of my setup cuz im helping someone do their retrofit so ill post it here when i get a chance this weekend. oh try to searh for 94patrickgsr (i think) he painted his and it looks amazing
i would recommend just going to any auto store, like shucks, and get paint that can stand high temp. i dunno which i used but i can look it up
