door removal on crx? easiest way..
I know it will unbolt and bolt right up, i was just more concerned with the wiring. How exactly would i go about with the wiring, do i just cut it where the door meets the hinges, or is there an easier way to do this? All info would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Matt

all the electrical wires (basically for seatbelt sensors and speaker) go through one harness. on the chassis side, there is a boot you can peel back and just unplug. you do NOT NEED TO CUT anything.
to take the door off without having to take the fender out, just take the door hinge spring pin out so you can open the door a bit wider, then you can access all the bolts needed to separate the door completely.
pretty easy to take off, not as much to put it back on and align correctly. its a lot easier if its the same door, you can kind of follow the rust/paint outline, but if its a totally different door, just gotta keep trying and readjust everything. then it helps to take the fender off.

thanks dude i appreciate it. Is it in between the door and the chassis? or is it more inside the door like right where the harness goes in??

all i had for wiring was for my speaker, theres no seatbelt wire going into the door.
I Just opened the speaker, removed the wire from the back and it came out with the door.
The doors are light, about 30lbs.

thats because canadians didnt get seatbelts on the door. nor as much side protection. 90-91 USDM doors are heavy...
if yours is an 88, you wont have it either.

yeah... we dont need the side protection anyways.. They look at acident reports, 10X more deaths in america per 10billion... So that explains why, were safer drivers.
Just kidding!
