they look just like the carbon fiber J's knockoff lips that passwordjdm.com makes.

i went to robearracing.com and there was nothing listed for the ef8/9 in the exterior section.

how much are you people looking to get for these?

these lips are already available to the consumer so i assume yours will be cheaper?

is there a way to make it fit on the usdm bumper? trim off that top peice maybe? any way to fit without completely hacking it? or is it completely different shape and all?

if i can fit it.. and given the proper price, i might get 2

 

Still don't understand why no one will make lips for the USDM fronts. You be making so much money off of us! The JDM front looks nice enough, while for the USDM guys, damn, it sucks! Cmon somebody, be smart and make a lip for the USDM fronts! There's mucho money to be made man!

I have a real J's EF9 lip and it doesn't come close to fitting the USDM front. If it was made of plastic or something maybe it could fit, but it's not like you can bend c/f or fiberglass.

That is why I made my own damn lip. Got the warrior look to it now.

Chargespeed makes those, and we carry them and have a few in stock. But otherwise, they're all the same design.

We're actually using the J's Racing lip and remolding it to fit the US front ends. Only problem is that there's 4 different damn molds to make for the EF hatch and CRX models.... sorry, no plans for sedans since the demand is not high enough.

trust me.. i used to wonder the same.. i started workin with cf about 3 months ago. and now i know why.. there is no market for it!!!.. EF owners arent as wealthy as EG, EK or DC owners.. u can say .. "i want it and i have the money".. and maybe 20 more people.. but its not worth making just 20 lips and keep the cost down to a afortable price.. unlike EG lips that everyone and their moma wants one and buys one..

just like someone said .. thats why im going to make my own one..

I'd buy this just as an excuse not to get the yellow fogs...probably save money in the end. Friggen $200 fog lights
