i have access to some high quality carbon fiber hoods. i wanted to see if anyone is interested in getting one. they will fit 94 to 01 integra's carbon re-enforced molding for $375.00 + shipping through me i know the owner/manufacturer so he said i could give my fellow h-t members a break on price reg $575.00 if this is a good deal and you want in let me know. by the way im not making money on this i just wanted to help out and pass on the good deal.. idont have pics yet but hope soon...

the manufacturer is a company called Factor X i know the owner for 10 years
the carbon is a high quality grade carbon woven tight. the impact supports and hood latch area are re-enforced with carbon for strength and safety.
im working on pics.

they are in the process of making s2000 hoods also. i know this is alot of money to take someones word on but you can ask yoshi im not a flake.

i also just want a idea of how many are interested in it. it's not binding so i can tell my friend that there is a interest in them. i will guarantee you guys will not be unhappy i will also post a pic after i know its worth his time to make them for us..

ok just making sure, cuz i already have a jdm carbon hood from fiber images, and the fitment sucks azz, i'm so dissappointed in this hood, i'm going to take pictures , and they can either send me another or refund my money... cuz it sucks...

its okay around certain areas, but it scrapes a part of my front bumper, can't adjust the knobby things any more, or the hood sticks up on the sides (not flush with the fenders), which is what pisses me off... so word to the wise, i don't know how everyone feels but Fiberimages SUCKS, unless they do something about my problem, i shouldn't of been a cheap skate, and bought the spoon from david @ randdmotorsports, but ohh well, i learned my lesson not to buy cheap *** ****.... and to ask peoples opinions before buying a product......

I have to agree with him here. My hood isn't too good. It sticks up on the sides quite a bit. A word to the wise...CF hoods are alot like buying a pair of pants (at least for me)...don't get one unless you try it on first.

 

i understand so until we have proof that these are not going to fit lets not make people not want to buy one b/c of your experience i have a carbon hood alreadsy and its not the best fitting also but these are very good quality stuff..

 

i could be up for one. i am 50/50 right now. when the buy goes down i will know for sure depends on the money situation at the time.

do they use factory hood latch..... if it's after the 1st of the year I might be interested

 

does the MANUFACTOR make them for 92-95 civic hatchbacks (EG) if so i'd be interested!
