As far as cam sprockets are concerned I would go with Golden Eagle... the AEM units only have three lockdown bolts, whereas most other have five. More bolts is more protection from the sprockets slipping and screwing up.

yes listen to this guy. some of skunk2s stuff is fishy, i agree, but the cam gears seem just great. 6 bolt design rules. never heard of anyone having a problem with them.

Skunk2, RS*R, and Invidia are all the same exhaust. I have the Invidia on my 5th gen. and like it alot. Haven't had it long enough to comment on the cracking issue but this is the first time I heard that.

catback exhausts dont get a carb approval, or even if they do it doesnt matter, the exhaust has nothing to do with emissions, only sound, best bet is to save a lot of money and go with a custom one rather than name brand one, plus i don't think the skunk2 will pass sound tests even if it is carb approved
The Skunk2 cam gears that I have on my engine are great. They look nice too
. In all seriousness though, I haven't been able to find a better aftermarket cam gear out there for the money.
As far as their exhausts, I can't comment on that, but I have a load of Skunk2 stuff on my car at the moment (muffler, intake manifold, cams, cam gears, valves, retainers, valve springs, etc.) since I love their stuff and thus far, I have had no problems with anything breaking.
I might be lucky, but I think that Skunk2 makes a lot better stuff than most people give them credit for. I know that a lot of Honda tuners that I know in my area swear by the stuff. Call me a fanboy if you want, but that's just my .02.

Well, I put together a custom exhaust, and its definately not cheaper than the 500 i can the skunk2 for. I'm going to order the skunk2 and the cam gears now so we'll have to see how it turns out. Plus skunk2 seems to be dominant exhausts of a lot of prelude owners. whatev thanks
