what should i consider or look for when purchasing a h23a for my 96 accord?
I'm a rookie mechanic looking at buying a h23a locally for my 96 accord, what should i check and look for so that i know that the motor is still good and all the parts that i need is all there because right now the motor is just sitting in this guy's backyard? And is $4000 a reasonable price for a motor that they said has 90k miles?
i would never pay 4000 for a h23. whoever said that better be giving you alot more than a motor for that price. im not on my home computer right now so i cant remember any of my links. just search google for honda motor swaps or something im sure youll get something. the only jdm motor importer i can think of right off the top of my head is Jarco. excellent company. cant remember their site though. also have you thought about a h22????
Hey, $4000 is quite a ripoff. An h22 costs anywhere from $1800-$3000 depending on the year of the engine. I think you should go online and check up JDM engines, because that USDM one isnt worth $4000. No h-series engine is worth that.
