ive been noticing that ive been loseing oil, not alot mabey a quart every 3000 miles. i cant see any leaking runs or any under were i park......last night i checked it and for some reason decided to smell it..??..it smelt very rich like it had gas mixed...ive also been noticing carbon speks on my rear bumper....the car only has 71,000 on it..it has a h22a4 (98 base)

anyone know what could be wrong?
please help

 

hmm buring one quart every 3k is nothing for an h22. but smelling gas in it, is not a good sign, i suggest changing that oil out as soon as possible because gas breaks down oil, and when you have broken down oil in your engine, you end up with a seized bottom end.
