"WELL" if i get the type-R, i'll get some sweet headers, hondata and probably an exedy cerametallic clutch, maybe see what i run on the track. it will mostly be for show and later do a little more thing to the motor. The built motor, RD dyno cylinder head package built for 9k, bottom end h22 w/2.4 stroker kit and titanium connecting rods, etc.

AND your point IS? there's alot people i know 2.5L h22 with 11.5:1 driving it every day to work, friend. something called tuning.

from someone who has driven the car, no it is not worth 4 grand. the h22a7 is a better motor, the gearing is better too, but seriously not worth 4 grand for 12 horsepower difference.
spend your money on a set of crower cams, bolt ons, and tuning and you'll be a happier man
