hey does anyone have some pics of where the IACV is on a 96 gsr. i have a bouncy idle between 1000-1500 rpm. and when i first start it up it revs all the way to 2300 for a little bit. just wanna make sure im takin off and cleaning the right part. are there any other things that can cause the idle to mess up like this? thank

 

try idle control valve, its the thing under the throttle body that has coolant lines hooked up to it

 

Its mounted directly to the intake manifold. It's on the back near the firewall. There are 2 bolts holding it on. You'll see 2 coolant lines going to it. Its the only one back there. You can't mistake it.

 

alright ill check that out...can anyone recommend the best way to clean it and what to clean it with. thanks for the help
