have a 01 prelude, and lately when i leave for school in the morning my brake lights on the dash is on. after 15 min of driving the light goes away. but if i press on the brakes firmly the light goes on again until i depress the brakes. any clues? also once the car is fully warmed up the light does not come on anymore. even when i press on the brakes firmly. i did check the fluid and it was just below teh max level. any advice is appreciated!!!!

Try adding just a touch more fluid. My car did this at one point and it was because the fluid was just s touch low. After the car and fluid warmed up, it would expand just enough to make the light go out until I used the brakes.

 

i have wondered this also, i filled up my brake fluid and mines is off now. In the mornings though, it usually stays on for a few.
