I don't know why, but i'm sure it's related wit either fuel, or air,
my s2k has a problem which really pisses me off, please help me to solve this problem. When i first brought the car i didnt notice bacause it was my first s2k, my car sometimes looses a lot of horsepower. Imagine i start the car, everything normal, drive it for 20 mins, still normal, than suddenly i try to accelerate like in the 2nd gear in 3000rpm, i press the pedal, the car doesnt response, feels like the car is drowning, then it responses and everythings normal again, then it does it again and again, it really looses power. I tried 100 octanes fuel, i tried injector cleaner (once), no difference. What is this? what should i do? please help me !?!

 

My sister's 2000 S2K had a similar problem, it turned out to be a faulty MAP sensor.

 

i had a similiar problem once, no power between 1500-4000rpms, turned out to be my spark plugs

That is the when the check engine light comes on to show you a malfuction code.

By the way, I see you are from North Cyprus. Interesting considering I am greek

 

Thanks Nikos, no i didnt get a check engine light, everythings normal with the car except this problem which is driving me crazy, i heared it might be spark plugs, what else it might be if it's not spark plugs?

 

tap the map sensor, it's the black sensor on top of the throttle body, see if that works. If not, it wouldn't hurt to have your spark plugs checked to make sure they aren't loose and nothings "missing"
