Does anybody know where the A/C filter is located? Is in contained in the blower box under the dash or is it under the cowl near the windshield wipers?

98-02 Accord's A/C Filters are located behind the glove box. You have to remove the glove box to gain access to them. Make sure you install them properly too... makes a big difference... they have flow markings on the filters, take note of the way they line up

 

yeah like he said they are behind the glove boy really simple to replace the arrows go faing towards the drivers side of the vehicle that is the way the ir flows....good luck ...spray some kind of freshner in ther so your car smell good when ac on..

It's not hard to get to, but it is a pain, took me maybe 25 minutes to get to it and put everything back.

Just remember to disconnect your battery before unplugging the airbag (which you'll have to do to get to the filter).

If you have a Haynes manual, it will give you pretty good information on getting to it.

 

I didn't have to unplug any airbags when doing the cabin filters in my 98 accord.

take out the glove box, remove filters, reinstall. It's not terribly difficult, a little tight, but pretty easy. a helms manual's instructions make it so easy...
