Hey, so I’ve got a B18C1 in my ’99 Civic Si, and I’ve been having some issues with it. I have forged pistons—P70s, I believe—but I’m still pretty new to Hondas, so I’m still learning. After reassembling everything—I bought the engine from someone—when I try to turn the crankshaft by hand, it’s extremely stiff. I already tried honing it and a few other things, but I can’t afford to check all the clearances or specs right now. So, I was wondering: could I switch to non-forged pistons? What kind would you recommend for a B18C1 engine?
