Default Non- metallic sound at engine bay

Looking for more advice. Used a stethoscope on the power steering pump and belt tensioner and those seem fine.. Went to do a quick 20 ft move and it started making the noise that (seems to be non-metallic) just a whine, that could be at the Left front side of the block and the idle was off until a PCM reset. The belt is all aligned and has tension however, seem sticky and the tensioner has black lines pasted on it. Also. ..Got the recording on MP3 if you would like to hear it I can send it on the next reply. The check engine light was on and recently replaced the alternator with a used one that is a Denzo. Next, is using some permatex dressing on the 40,000 drive/ surpentine belt. I do have a cheap belt and new tensioner to install if needed. Working on a 2004 Pilot with a 3.5 V6.
