I have a 2008 Fit Sport with all service records and only 140k kilometers (approx 86k miles). The car has been great and I am the original owner. The rust has started and is accelerating fast. I am thinking it might be time to sell, while it can still handle a road trip. I hate the thought of selling for scrap when it has a great engine and some new parts.

Is there a decent market for selling a car for the core parts that doesn't involve getting practically giving it away?
