If you're asking the question, wouldn't you consider replacing the shocks while everything is apart?
I was thinking the same thing, If you have to go thru all the pain to get to the strut bushing, just replace the whole thing with Quickstruts from Amazon or wherever. Unless they are the expensive lowing/handling struts
Yeah, maybe you're right... they're KYB AGX's with Eibach springs. Nothing really special and about 10 years old with 50K miles. They're still good but maybe I should just replace everything. Thank you for the input everyone!

I dunno... I am about to put this same combination on my CRV... and I HOPE that they last more than 50K miles !!! Incidentally, I will be replacing all of the rubber bushings and dust covers with new product at the time of installation. If they are still good... why replace them ??? Unless you are looking for some adjust-ability or seek a different ride height ???
Hello fellow Honda-Heads! So the top shock mount bushings are like destroyed on my del Sol...
I plan on replacing the following parts but have a couple of questions.
- #7 (2 per side) and #10
My questions are:
- Is there anything else I should change while I have them out?
- Are the rears the same as the fronts?
Thank you for the input!
You should also replace that #6 upper washer with an OEM part. The edges are curved upward away from the bushing. This is to prevent the washer from cutting into the rubber like your flat ones did:
