Default EK side skirts on EF

im just wondering how you guys mounted the ek hatch side skirts onto the 1991 civic chassis..

i have a set and just want some more info before i start..
i know some trimming has to be done.. and i have self taping screws

any info or pics would be amazing

1996 ek civic hatch side skirts. onto 1991 civic si
iv done LOTS of searching and even looked threw the entire lip and sideskirt thread

Its simple. Flip them upside down and put the part that comes out farther than the rest towards the back. cut off the rest of the front to fit the length and screw to the bottom.

awesome thanks... this is what iv got so far ....i had to cut about 4-6 inches off... but they fit really good..and i still need to cut an inch or so off

..drink a couple beers, get tired from kneeling down thens say f@#k it!! double side 3m tape and self tappers!

Wow, I never would have thought of using those skirts. Are those on the DX hatch, and therefore cheaper than anything from the Si?

i got my skirts from a dx hatch..i cut the plastic tabs off so it fits flush ... i haven't mounted them yet but they fit under the doors great, time to get the self tapers and some 3m glue/tape

How about putting these on and ED sedan? Are they long enough? I want to make it look just " " that much lower.
The Sedan gets LOOOOW (reflector poper) But it doesnt look that low.

I think that theyll fit on a rex as well..i got two EK skirts but havent installed them on my rex yet..but want to so bad, but looking around for more pix and easier way to install..which im sure there is no easier way...oh well.

I originally had my eyes set on the 96+ accord coupe skirts but them 01 coupe skirts are lookin mighty fine right about now

dont over think it.
1) measure + cut
2) mock up to body and determin where to drill for self tappers
3) drill hole, then put in place with 3m double sided tape and screw into body btw.. the hardest part to drill will be where the rear of the front fender, before the door meet.
4) thats it, just added about 2" of visual drop.

X2. the kickout at the rear is not so much on later models, and sedans.
