Default CAI void warranty?

I'm getting an AEM cai and was wondering if if would void my warranty still on the car? searched and found nothin.

yes, usually anything aftermarket voids factory warrenty

i think Acura told me that if u use comptech it wont void the warranty...because honda make or is a partner with them

but i dont know if the factory has to install it

Your warranty is void only if (when you take it in for repair) they can prove the CAI caused the problem.

just take the intake off and put the stock one back on when u bring it in for repairs

brought my gsr to the dealer soo many times and never said crap about it voiding the warrenty. now if you have a SC or turbo then that will def void it!

It really depends on the dealer. If they won't take it, you can always try another dealer.

and if they give you crap about it.....slap the stock back in. it's not that hard

Well since the comptech one looks stock, and if you feel that you will void the warranty, do the comptech intake and you'll save the grief later on to yourself.
