Default Idle Learn Procedure...?

I notice that my 97 prelude idels a little low, in gear at idle, thus making my steering wheel shake a bit, and makes take offs a little sluggish.

IS there an idle learn procedure that would make my car control idle better? My car is bone stock, so there are no mods affecting my driveability ....If you know the learn procedure, please let me know,Thanks

Does this happen all the time? How about when you have the A/C on? There is no idle procedure but you could try adjusting the idle screw.

I think it happens more often when the a/c is not on. There is no procedure? Damn...ok, I will try the screw.

there is an idle learn procedure and it is recommended on all obd2 hondas. disconnect the battery for a minute. reconnect. let car idle with absolutely no accessories on even radio til the cooling fans cycle twice then let idle for ten minutes. i am not guarenteeing this will fix your problem, i'm just telling you that there is dfinately an idle learn procedure and how it is done

Well, I know that there was a procedure for older civics, but i didnt know if it would work on obdII preludes as well. Heres how it goes...

1. Disconnect the IACV plug, (the Idle Air Control motor)
2. Start car-all accessories OFF
3. Adjust Idle screw until Idle speeds meets required 750/800
4. Kill ignition-re-connect plug for IACV
5. Remove negative battery cable for a few mins, then re-connect.
6. Start car, ensure proper idle with accessories...

This should set a base for The IACV motor.

What you guys think>?
