hello im George and i recently bought an EK now i need help solving its problems
the car has been vandalized and my intake has come up missing along with other parts in the car now theres is an empty space on the left side of the d16y8 motor and i need help figuring out what goes there thanks

 

 

 

i put a battery but it wont start now it wont even crank any suggestions like a sensor that may need to be plugged in for it to start?
i dont know where much of anything is on this engine . im new

 

your starter cable not hooked up to fuse box??? by the batter.
you pic shows its all disconnected

google your cars make and model starter wire diagram. its in the pic. loose 8g cable needs to go to fuse box right there.
starter isn't getting power

yes. if it wont crank it wont start.

if it don't crank..(starter) is dead or not hooked up to power. your pic shows not hooked to power

 

circled in red is your starter wire...circled in blue is where it goes. fuse box. you need to google 99 civic starter cable...it will show you. hope this helps

looks like remote start and alarm hooked up.....best to remove all that garbage.

I would just remove it entirely whatever isn't oem.

could that prevent it from cranking and starting, and also are you talking about the wire with the tab thing id that the one I have to plug in?

 

splice the gummy connection in the black wired you circled and redo the connection that wire is for an aftermarket star so if you redo the connection it may crank or start

oh then you might as well remove that stuff its just going to get in your way it but probably already meddled with your electrical components
