I posted earlier about this but it was a jumbled up mess. So I decided to clean it up by posting a new thread with my findings.

I recently purchased a 97 #'s matching b16a2 equipped del sol. Not a swap job, but a surviving original.

I noted a cut wire near the passenger shock tower grey harness plugs. The wire comes from inside the car in the main loom, through the firewall and is circled in red below in my pic. I stripped it back and found a shielded red/blue wire. Best I can tell from my schematic is that it is for the knock sensor??? Am I correct?


The yellow circled wire is red/blue also and I believe this is where it should connect to. The blue wire (circled in blue) essentially runs back to the ecu and is terminated on yet another red/blue wire at the ecu plug.
