i couldn't see what happened to the FE car. was it just lame or did the battery pack overheat due to no moving air and the power dropped?
This just confirms what I already knew. My electric RC car was not nearly as fun as my gas powered RC car.
Sr, do you think the batteries/motor would overheat that quickly? I know they get super hot, but almost catastrophic failure in 10 seconds?

Looks like that video was from the original unveiling at CES. Not sure of the details but there is another video that looks to be from about the same time, same car, same driver in which donuts were better but still virtually no smoke. Found some others, like this, showing some smokey 'nuts, so apparently it's possible. (donuts @ 48s in)
