I will say this. For much of his time he had to deal with Hunt. When I watch some of those races I wonder if he never shut up so that Hunt wouldn't have a chance to say something that wood get them both kicked off the air lol. I know Hunt would frequently grab the mic from Walker when he felt he had been held at bay enough.

 

His holiday starts in Melbourne. He's got another dominant car and a teammate that will once again be a doormat. I hope I'm wrong, but Bottas is no Rosberg lol

In the post Hunt years he rambled quite a bit. I think it was maybe the crazy European GP in '99 where he was out to lunch for much of the race and you could tell Brundle was starting to get exasperated lol.

I wonder if Hunt helped keep Walker in check just like Walker kept Hunt in check.

 

The races were often boring as the leaders pulled off into the distance, so at least his commentary made you think something incredible was happening.

 

hobbs/matchett/varsha 2004 banter was a highlight considering the races were pretty processional.

 

Most of the Walkerisms I heard was from playing the original F1 game on PlayStation.
