I really wouldn't mind trying a Bassani muffler. They REALLY have a unique sound on 4v Mustangs which isn't easy to do. I'm very curious how they would sound on a Honda.
Shodan I plan on copying your setup, I love how it sounds....differnt in a good way. I wonder how it would sound with a LS and some 404 cams.
Yep, same part number. The black chrome was discontinued about 2 years ago. You can always ceramic coat it black. I did that to another one. I'll find a photo of it later and edit this post
On my old integra I used a vibrant 1147 streetpower 3” inlet/outlet with a Tkeller 3” piping, no resonator. Just straight 3” from turbo to muffler. The muffler is a straight through design. IMO it sounded pretty good, I mostly liked the fact that it was sleeper looking. I hate the look of huge chrome mufflers.
Here’s an old video of it at the track (before I turned it all the way up lol) the sound in the video isn’t the greatest.
Very off topic but I have never been able to understand Honda owners and the rear bumper speed holes.
the bottom of the car doesn't have any aerodynamics and allows the back bumper to catch a stupid amount of air , the rear bumpers on those things act like parachutes

I'm aware of the purpose, and somewhat usable function of the speed holes, but that's not what a diffuser is. As usual, the interweb created another horrible misnomer. Just like it did when Full-Race misused the term "twin scroll" back in '04 as a marketing ploy

i agree it's not a rear diffuser , perhaps a block off tray underneath with fins to work as an actual diffuser would tickle your fancy , I could always draw something like that and have it water jet cut out of some 14 gauge aluminum 🤔
Maybe there's a market for people who don't enjoy the "speed hole" look
I recall seeing some air flow simulations done on an EF or CRX that showed no benefit of having speed holes. I'll see if I can find...
edit: found
credit to whoever made this...
Uh huh....As aesthetically pleasing as it looks to the naked eye (I may have this framed), You may want to elaborate the contrast you're making here. You know, the usual.. Draw some cool lines, make some initial data points, give an idea what people are expected to see, what a person is expected to extrapolate from this pretty picture, etc.. ..
most strictly drag guys just completey remove them , but I suppose an under tray to block the bumper cavity off would also help
but yea I think it's pretty obvious that it would help to reduce drag , the fact all the fastest hondas in the world do it is enough evidence 🤷🏻*♂️
So you guys cut the bumper and install these retarded looking holes simply because someone else does it? Jeeezus
Like I said before is there any data to support that this mod actually makes you noticeably faster? From the sound of it, it's a wonder the bumpers don't simply get ripped off by the drag they create...

I did it cause I like the way it looks. I don’t ******* care what you or anyone else on ht thinks about it. I build my cars for me not for some ******* sack riding bitches on ht. The only reason I post is to help spread useful information to others that want to learn. Witch is why I posted pics of my muffler to help, then in typically ht fashion the topic gets sidetracked with useless bs.

My apologies for taking the thread off track. And you are correct, you should never care what someone else thinks about your ride.

Its all good man. We are all here because we share common interests. I wouldn’t know a 1/4 of what I do about Honda’s if it wasn’t for ht, so when I get an opportunity to share useful knowledge I take it. That’s how everyone gets better at this stuff.
